On Friday we had another fun pool day! This time we went to my friend Rachel Blakney's dads house to swim. She brought both her boys and we had a really fun time. Delaney played in the water a little and then took a nap in the shady gazebo :)

On Saturday we had a cookout over at Allen's parents house. They bought a little pool for the kids and a while back they bought a bounce house for Hannah to play in :) They set all of this up and we had a great time. Diane wanted to invite the Blakney's over too so Taven & Hannah could play!! HA!!

Sunday Delaney was 4 months old! We took her monthly pics in her 4 months sticker outfit in the late afternoon. I usually do it in the morning, but since we had church we had to wait until later. She wasn't as interested in smiling or looking at the camera, but I did get a few good ones!!!
Delaney Jane you are 4 months old today (June 10, 2012). You are still such a happy baby! You are always smiling, cooing, and laughing out loud. You have just discovered your voice and you like to "talk." It's soooo sweet!!
You went to the doctor today for your 4 month checkup! You weighed in at a big whoppin' 11 lbs 9.5 oz and are 23 inches long! You are in the 5th% for weight and 10th% for height!! You are probably going to be small :)
You are eating 5 oz about every 3 hours during the day, and you go 2 six hour stretches at night. We started cereal last week, but you still are getting up once. We are hoping to increase that amount and maybe you'll sleep through the night! It's okay though :) Even when I'm tired, I don't mind getting up with you because it means I get to snuggle some more :)

This month you have started grabbing and holding things. You still love your playmat and actually grasp the toys now instead of just batting at them. You love your stuffed animal blankie..we take it with us in the car!!

You are still so sweet and precious! Everywhere we go people comment on how cute you are and how much you smile and laugh :) And most people LOVE your hair bows!! I know I love putting them on you too!!
You are starting to really move around and you like to know what's going on. I can tell you will be a very nosy child and a mover for sure!!
You have pretty good head control now. You can sit up with a little help, and you can actually go from sitting to standing by just holding onto my hands. You are so strong! I know you will be crawling and walking before we know it!
We are so happy you are ours and we look forward to all the changes that will come in the next few months. You are such a blessing Delaney Jane and we love you very much :)
