Beth&Allen's Journey: May 2012

Well, Delaney and I are at Holden Beach this week after a last minute beach trip was planned!! I was so excited!! After church on Sunday my mother in law was talking about how she wished she could go to the beach. They own a house in Holden Beach and Diane thought it wasn't rented out this week. I said, "I don't have anything to do..I'd go!" She was like, "I'm not kidding!!" So.... a few phone calls later, we decided we'd head to Holden Beach for the week. We were so happy that my sweet friend Rachel and her little boy Stephen could come too! We weren't sure what we were getting into traveling with a 3 month and 5 month old, but they really did surprisingly well! It took us like 9 hours and they really only got fussy the last part of the trip :) Honestly, don't we all just wanna be there by then??? ;)

We hit a little bump in the road during our planning but it worked out fine :) It turns out my in laws house was rented for the week, but the realtor put us up in another one. This one is actually ocean front so that has been extremely convenient because of the babies!!

I love this!! We love our monogrammed towel :) And I think it's so cute how she's laying!!

We spent a few hours here and there out on the beach. We had to come in for feedings and to reapply sunscreen, but all in all it was a fun day!! We got cleaned up and headed to dinner at the Provision Company (one of my favorite restaurants!!) But not before we had another photo shoot :) I love the outfit Delaney has on :)
